Your real estate website is the foundation of your digital marketing strategy. Picking the right website provider is a decision you need to get right. Below is a list of recommended website providers at different price points.
Here are a number of notes and tips to help you choose the right website solution:
Newbie - If you're just starting out or are completely overwhelmed by technology you should purchase a Placester website package. At just $5 a month for Realtors it is a crazy good bargain. The templates are professional and stylish and can be personalized to your brand. The biggest advantage of Placester is that you can get your website up and running within minutes.
Too Busy - If you're just too busy with your real estate business and don't have time to build websites etc, use a more managed solution like Easy Agent Pro, Curaytor, Boom Town or Kunversion where they will handle your set up, hosting, content and lead generation. Additional marketing services may be included in the price or may be an add on (either way you're going to pay for it).
Own or Lease - when you use a website provider you generally don't own your website. When you stop paying for the service you lose the website. To compensate for this you need to insist on owning your domain plus have the right to export your content. The best website strategy is to own you own website but the convenience of using a website service outweighs owning your site if you're a tech dummy. If you're tech savvy you should always own your own site.
