NAR Partners With ZipLogix To Provide Free Transaction Management Software

NAR Realtor LogoThe National Association of Realtors announced that, beginning in 2016, Realtors will be provided with free access to zipLogix’s forms and transaction management software.

“Along with access to forms, transaction management tools and document storage, brokers have additional options available to them, including measurement and reporting tools as well as oversight and management of their agent’s transactions to complete contracts more efficiently and assist with risk management.”

So what does it all mean for agents and brokers?

Realtors will get free access, as part of their NAR dues, to:

  • Forms
  • Document Storage
  • Transaction Management System

Brokers will have access to an upgraded (paid) broker version.

NAR explains the decision as all part of the process to empower agents, allow them to maintain control of their data and provide another cog in the creation of a seamless digital transaction platform. In many ways it mirrors the recent acquisition of DotLoop by Zillow and Reesio by Move and is seen as a NAR’s play to stay relevant in the data control war.

The partnership will impact Realtors in different ways depending on whether you’re already a zipLogix user or your Association provides zipLogix services.

Note – zipLogix is already a 100% owned Realtor Company (owned by NAR and the California Association of Realtors subsidiary REBS),  is currently used by over 650,000 Realtors and available to some 900,000 Realtors through their local Association.
